About the Farmer

I guess that’s me! As you can probably guess my name is Kolter, I live in the Hannover area of central North Dakota. I have loved gardening as long as I can remember, my grandparents have done a great job helping me to develop a desire to grow food and to do it well.

Delivering Produce to the Bisman Community Food Coop

The 4 or 5 years before 2019 I have worked for a farmer friend who grows vegetables for farmer’s markets and working for him has really inspired me to go into the business. I have had a large garden every year the past several years and somehow it just keeps getting bigger, producing more and more vegetables, so many that last year in 2018 I started selling to some through local grocery stores who, really like buying and selling locally grown produce. 2019 I started operating my own farm, and I am pleased to say that we are expanding our CSA program for the 2020 season!. I am so excited to continue to bring fresh, wholesome produce to more people’s homes and to get my hands in the dirt!
